Luminex is announcing the upcoming release of Araneo Studio, a powerful new software suite that will make its public debut at LDI, opening December 7th. Araneo Studio marks the next evolution of our ecosystem software, introducing a streamlined, unified workspace designed to simplify management and configuration across Luminex solutions. 

At launch, Araneo Studio will offer novel management and configuration capabilities tailored specifically for the LumiNode and LumiCore product lines. These new tools deliver a more intuitive, network-wide workflow, increased visibility, and improved operational efficiency, supporting lighting and media professionals who rely on responsive and dependable system control. 

Araneo Studio is built as an expandable platform. Over time, the suite will be continuously enriched with advanced networking features and will grow to include seamless integration of GigaCore Ethernet switches. This phased expansion will provide users with a progressively broader and more powerful environment for system-wide configuration, monitoring, and real-time Health-Check diagnostics. 

Visitors to LDI will have the opportunity to experience Araneo Studio firsthand. Our team will be on-site throughout the show to demonstrate the software, walk attendees through its capabilities, and offer insight into the roadmap that will shape the evolution of the suite in the months ahead.

Luminex Introduces GigaCore O26-I 20S10 4S25 2S40: High-Bandwidth Switch for Next-Generation Pro AV Networks

Luminex has announced the launch of the GigaCore O26-I, a 40 Gigabit Ethernet switch dedicated to AV integration, installation, broadcast applications and touring. Designed to support today’s most advanced AV protocols, the GigaCore O26-I provides the reliability, bandwidth, and simplicity that modern Pro AV networks demand.

The introduction of the GigaCore O26-I 20S10 4S25 2S40 answers a longstanding request from the AV community. Customers have been looking for a high-bandwidth switch with the flexibility, protocol support, and ease of use that Luminex is known for, now delivered in a single, compact, and powerful solution. A first unit was already showcased at the IBC show in Amsterdam, where it was met with strong enthusiasm from broadcast professionals who learned about its capabilities first-hand.

[Genk, Belgium, November 21, 2024] — Our GigaCore 30i is now AVNU certified.

AVNU certification? Check! Our GigaCore 30i is the first-ever Pro AV Ethernet switch to pass the renewed AVNU Network Devices Certification Program.

Our engineers have worked closely with many members of the AVNU Alliance task group to implement test scripts, review code, and validate testing processes. We are proud to announce that the GigaCore 30i is now officially AVNU certified, marking a significant milestone as the first Pro AV Ethernet switch to achieve this recognition. The AVNU Certification Program guarantees seamless interoperability and compatibility within Pro AV ecosystems running AVB/MILAN applications.

Additionally, all other models in the GigaCore family are expected to receive this certification in the near future.

[Genk, Belgium, 29 juli 2024] — “KRC Genk Fanzone” wordt omgedoopt tot “Luminex Fanzone”.

Luminex verlengt zijn samenwerking met KRC Genk voor de komende drie jaar en wordt naampartner van de Fanzone, die voortaan de naam “Luminex Fanzone” zal dragen. Deze stap benadrukt de sterke band tussen de twee Limburgse merken, die hun samenwerking vorig seizoen lanceerden onder de campagne ‘Amazing experiences start in Genk’.

Luminex, wereldwijd bekend om zijn innovatieve technologieën voor de aansturing van licht, audio en video op grote evenementen zoals het Eurovisie Songfestival, de Olympische Spelen en Glastonbury Festival, voegt nu een nieuw element toe aan zijn partnerschap met KRC Genk.

Supporters vieren en vertoeven voortaan in Luminex Fanzone.

Als blikvanger van de vernieuwde samenwerking wordt de KRC Genk Fanzone omgedoopt tot de “Luminex Fanzone”, waarbij Luminex zich engageert om de komende drie jaar de Fanzone verder uit te bouwen en de beleving voor de fans beter te maken. Zo mogen fans in september al een eerste opwaardering verwachten. Er zal een groot ledscherm geplaatst worden, waardoor fans zowel voor de wedstrijd als in de derde helft kunnen genieten van leuke content.
