LumiSplit v6 comes with some significant features that are ideal to make your installation more robust with flexibility. One of these features makes it now possible to store a snapshot on board, and can then be used to playing back at start up or when the DMX signal is lost at the input. In case it loses the DMX input signal, you can also choose to repeat the very last received valid DMX frame, whether it is using your stored snapshot as an emergency light scene or either using the last frame received to keep all your lights in the latest position. All this can be easily managed by RDM and through LumiNet Monitor. (more…)

The GigaCore 10 is by far the most versatile Luminex Gigabit switch ever built. The half 19” unit with front and rear connectivity is designed to be mounted in a truss, in a rack or even on a wall. The robust metal enclosure and rugged Ethercon and (optional) Fiber connectors make this unit excel in truss mounted applications with Ethernet enabled devices, such as moving lights, PA systems, microphones, cameras or general stage connectivity. But also to ensure ultimate redundancy the GigaCore 10 is an excellent choice. Just by coupling two units, AV professionals can create a full 19” rack combination with a primary and secondary unit.
We are happy to announce that the new GigaCore 2.4.0 firmware is now officially released. But before you start upgrading all your devices, here’s what you need to know about the new features. (more…)
Experience ultimate Remote Device Management. LumiSplit is a range of DMX/RDM splitters designed by Luminex, that come in a 2.10 and a 1.6 version. They are very robust DMX splitters that run the latest technology to be used with RDM bidirectional standard and fully backward compatible with DMX512 (1986/1990). LumiSplit enables you to manage and configure all your devices from one central place through RDM. The units all have individual isolated inputs and outputs with self healing technology to protect your connected equipments against faulty connections, line voltages and short circuits. In addition to the LumiSplit range, the DMX512-A 2.10 HUB (Ethercon) provides the perfect alternative for fixed installations using only RJ45 connectors to transfer DMX signals.
