Luminex Network Intelligence is seeking a Support Engineer & Application Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for technical support, assisting our global partners and customers. Additionally, you will handle fault analysis and product repairs, leveraging your knowledge of electronics to keep our cutting-edge technology functioning seamlessly in the field.

Key deliverables

  • Technical Support & Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Luminex products and become a trusted technical advisor for both internal teams and customers.
  • Fault Analysis & Repair: Conduct fault diagnostics and electronic repairs (including board swaps) to resolve hardware issues, ensuring our products maintain top performance.
  • Customer Support: Provide timely, professional support through multiple channels, including email, phone, and live support.
  • Network Technology: Continuously expand your knowledge of networking and AV technology, applying it to real-world scenarios in professional AVL environments.
  • Issue Reporting & Feedback: Collaborate with the development team by reporting issues and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our products.
  • Project Assistance: Review and validate network setups for upcoming projects, providing expert advice to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Field Support: Occasionally provide on-site technical support for installations and troubleshooting.

Required competencies

  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You have a natural ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges efficiently, including hardware-related issues.
  • Electronics Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronics, with experience in fault diagnosis and repairs at the component level (e.g., board swaps).
  • Detail-Oriented & Meticulous: You approach tasks with precision, ensuring that issues are identified and resolved correctly.
  • Independent & Collaborative: Capable of working autonomously while also being a strong team player in a collaborative environment.
  • Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to customers in clear, accessible language.
  • Multitasker: Able to juggle multiple support requests and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Pro AV Experience: Familiarity with professional AVL setups or prior experience in the AV industry is a strong advantage.
