With this release, Luminex introduces improvements and bug fixes to demonstrate our long-term commitment to the users of our products. No new features have been introduced.


Improvements:

• The detection algorithm for RLinkX ring detection has been improved to reduce
the time needed to detect redundant connections especially in larger networks.
• The GigaCore will now better respond to mDNS queries with the QU bit set
(Unicast-response bit). This improves device discovery in very large networks.

Bug fixes:

• An issue has been resolved where boundary clock would not work together with a one-step grandmaster that is using a fixed origin time.
• A bug has been fixed where LLDP entries could sometimes not
be read using SNMP.
• Resolved an issue where leaving the last Milan-AVB stream running in one direction could interrupt the streams running in the other direction.
