Release Notes GigaCore v1.9.2 With this release, we introduce improvements and bug fixes, no new features are introduced. Related products: • GigaCore O26-I • GigaCore S30-I • GigaCore 30i • GigaCore 20t • GigaCore 18t • GigaCore 16t • GigaCore 16tf • GigaCore 16i • GigaCore 10t • GigaCore 10i • GigaCore 10t-IP Improvements: • Tuning of SFP ports has been improved for specific SFP modules on select GigaCore models. • mDNS traffic over IPv6 is no longer sent to the CPU on ports that are not part of the management group. Previously, IPv6 mDNS traffic in other groups could cause an increase in CPU load. Bug Fixes: • A bug has been resolved where, on GigaCore O26-I, an incorrect default max response time was present when IGMP querier was forced in IGMPv3 mode. This potentially resulted in rejoining multicast streams after a long delay. This was not the case when using IGMPv2 which is the default for GigaCore. • A bug has been fixed where a GigaCore in PTPv2 Boundary Clock mode, did not respond to every delay request. When several requests were received in rapid succession, only one of the requests received a response, which could lead to a degradation of synchronization of the affected end devices. • A bug was resolved on GigaCore O26-I where false high temperature warnings were triggered on certain QSPF modules.
