Position Summary:

 

We are seeking an innovative and proactive Market Development Specialist to drive strategic partnerships, explore new market opportunities, and unlock sales potential in the AV network market. This role will focus on enhancing our distributor and dealer relationships, identifying new synergies with complementary brands, and working closely with product management to prioritize and execute strategies. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will be hands-on and capable of executing large parts of the strategy while motivating and empowering our global network of distributors in colaboration with the sales and channel management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Market Development:

    • Develop and execute strategies that facilitate collaboration between distributors and dealers within assigned regions to promote Luminex AV solutions.
    • Identify and pursue synergies between Luminex and complementary brands to drive technical and sales growth.
    • Explore new opportunities in the market by visiting customers, attending industry events, and conducting market research.

    Opportunity Identification and Prioritization:

    • Identify potential collaborations, partnerships, or synergies through market exploration and customer interactions.
    • Collaborate with product management to assess and prioritize opportunities based on regional relevance, market impact, and strategic alignment.

    Distributor and Dealer Enablement:

    • Initiate joint efforts between distributors and complementary brands to create cohesive go-to-market strategies.
    • Motivate and inspire distributors to actively promote and sell Luminex products, aligning their efforts with the new company’s strategic objectives.
    • Train distributors on how to execute strategies in their respective markets and effectively evangelize Luminex products to their customers in colaboration with channel management.

    Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, dealers, customers, and industry partners.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

    Sales Enablement:

    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop materials and campaigns that support market development efforts.
    • Support sales efforts by providing insights, facilitating joint sales opportunities, and participating in customer presentations.

    Performance Measurement:

    • In colaboration with sales and channel management:
      • Get performance metrics for distributor and dealer
      • Provide regular reports on market development activities, including successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the entertainment AV industry.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of AV network solutions and technical synergies.
    • Excellent communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of stakeholders.
    • Hands-on approach with a focus on execution.
    • Skilled in delivering effective training sessions and coaching partners to succeed.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and identify growth opportunities.
    • Proven track record in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in electronics / ICT.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with distributors, dealers, customers, and industry partners.
