INSTALLATION NOTES

!! Luminex recommends to record and export all created profile of your
node. These will be deleted after the upgrade to be completed !!

* Stop all ArtNet traffic on the network.
* Go to firmware upgrade page of your node.
* Check the firmware version of your node (current firmware version is :)
When upgrading from version 3.x.x :
* Select the "upgrade_eth_dmx8.tgz"
When upgrading from version 4.x.x :
* Select the "ethdmx8_V4xxx_xxxxxxxx.bin"
* click upgrade button
* wait until upgrade finishes.
The web interface may time out, but wait and check what happens on the front end
display of the node.
You will see the node display following screens on the front end LCD module:
1) Upgrading wait
2) Then it boots with IP address 2.0.0.2
!! Wait and still do nothing !!
3) Then it will show: Converting prof. Wait
It is now converting profiles to the automatic calculated IP addresses.
The unit will then restart with new IP addresses. These are automatically calculated
for every node 8 to be unique. The node won't use anymore 2.0.0.2 and 2.0.0.3 as
default IP addresses.
Once the node is restarted after the "converting prof." message, the unit is ready to
use. I recommend you to reload the default profile, to be sure to start with true
blank configuration.
Type the new IP address displayed on the front end interface in your web browser,
and go to the profile manager page and reload the default profile.
You can then import your previously saved profiles in the node.

!!! Downgrading to 3.x.x firmware is impossible when running 4.1.x firmware !!!
